Practical visitor information

Arrival

When you arrive at Stone Manor Studios, you will find the village ready for your visit. Parking immediately around the property is limited, so please park along the surrounding village streets or in designated parking areas on the property. Your Makers at the Manor experience begins at the main entrance at the front of the Manor, reached by the front walkway. Signs will guide you to the entrance. Please begin your visit here rather than at the Studios. At the main door, we will welcome you and check your ticket before you begin your journey through the Manor. From there, you will wander through the rooms of the house before exiting through the conservatory and continuing into the Studios in the historic stone carriage house, completing your Makers at the Manor experience.

Parking and drop-off

Parking is available along the streets surrounding Newboro Manor and in designated areas around the property. Guests with limited mobility are welcome to use the closest area to the Manor for convenient drop-off and arrival. You may also wish to park along Newboro’s main street, Drummond, and make your arrival part of the experience. Enjoy a visit to Kilborns shopping experience, or grab a bistro bite at Stagecoach restaurant or visit the interesting Kwiat Gallery right in the heart of the village, then take the short walk down New Street to Newboro Manor, just at the end of the street. It is an easy way to enjoy a little more of Newboro while you are here for the holidays. Signs at the Manor will guide you to the main front entrance, where your Makers at the Manor experience begins.

Accessibility at a historic property

The historic property includes stairs and areas with access limitations. Please contact Stone Manor Studios before purchasing if you would like assistance or route information. Please contact us should you need to discuss support-person and service-animal information.

Winter footwear

Guests will generally keep winter footwear on. Absorbent runners and floor care will be in place, and boot covers may be offered if conditions require them.

Coats and valuables

A limited, staffed coat area with numbered tags is planned. Please keep valuables with you.

Purchases and connectivity

Individual makers process their own purchases; the event does not operate one shared checkout. Bring a charged phone and more than one payment method, as connectivity can vary.
